In previous vlog episodes you’ve learned to recognize your inner critics (gremlins, I call them) and you’ve learned that you need to be able to conquer those voices of doubt so that they don’t derail your dreams. In today’s vlog episode we’re talking about how to stop your inner critics once and for all.
What we resist, persists
Now, if you’ve been with me for a while, you’re already familiar with the concept of “what we resist persists”. In other words, when we fight something what usually happens is that we inadvertently make it stronger. By focusing on what we don’t want (the scary gremlin voices that make us doubt our own abilities and worthiness) we are actually feeding our energy to those very things.

Well, when we run into that kind of obstacle, one of the best things we can do is work around it. And we do that by changing the way we look at the obstacle itself.
In this case, we do it by changing the way we think about our gremlins.
The best way to stop your inner critics
Instead of looking at them at horrible, scary things that we MUST obliterate (or die trying!), we soften things up a little and find ways to disarm those gremlins of their weapons: we take away their ability to scare us.
And we do that by getting a little crafty.
