If you’re looking for a way to skyrocket your ability to achieve your goals in the New Year, visualization is one of the most powerful techniques out there for helping you to manifest your dreams and goal. What’s even better is that this technique is also a really fun way to get yourself energized and excited about what you’re doing, which has the added benefit of shifting you into far better alignment with those big dreams and goals of yours! So, with all of that in mind, I’ve put together six of my best visualization tips to help you make your visualization practice as successful as it can be!
These tips are really easy to implement, and if you’re just beginning to experiment with visualization techniques, they will definitely help you to get the most of your efforts. If you’re already familiar with visualization, then these tips will be great reminders to help you keep yourself on track as you start next year’s adventures.
Visualization tips and the power of your mind
Again, the purpose of these visualization tips is to help you motivate yourself by seeing and feeling yourself as being successful in whatever goal you’ve set for yourself. Visualization can be used in any area of your life in which you want to make changes – it’s as useful in fitness related goals as it with financial goals. In whatever aspect of your life that you’re working on, visualization essentially trains your mind into accepting your success as a given. When you regularly rehearse it in your mind, it has the same effect as practicing it “for real”, and your mind begins to accept it as fact, which in turn helps everything else fall into place as you consciously and subconsciously look for ways to make it happen.
Never underestimate the power of your own mind; just click the play button below to get all the details on all six of my visualization tips, then give them a try and be sure to let me know how it goes — I love hearing your success stories!

Really great! I’ve known cases in which the physical evidence did not support the success of the person, yet, through visualization, the person got to where they wanted to go. It is that powerful and I am glad because Abe tells us not to get caught up in “what-is-ness”. What is the now was actually set forth in our past and we should pre-pave our future.
Another key ingredient is confidence. We can’t half-ass it, can we? We must take that step off the cliff, so to say, and have faith and allow the universe to take care of it. And it will and it does all the time. You can ask it to prove it to you, if you want. It will respond, but you have to be open to the signs. Also, being upbeat is vital. The universe does not respond to wet blankets who complain and cry all the time.
After visualizing, I always thank the universe for everything. Here’s to more cool stuff!
Absolutely! Where we are right now is a cumulative result of what we have been and done in the past. But you have to be careful with this and not get caught up in blaming your past, especially other people in your past, for your present circumstances. Yes, what came before helped to define the present, but we all have, and have always had, the choice of how we react to any event that we’ve experienced. When we look at this and realize that if the actions and attitudes of the past helped to shape the present, then actions and attitudes of the present can and will help to shape the future. So if we want the future to be any different from the present, then we MUST change our actions and attitudes to align with our vision of that future. What we put into it is what we’ll get out of it.
So yes, visualizing to pre-pave the future really is that powerful. And yes, confidence always helps, because the energy in that is almost always aligned with good things happening.
The Universe responds to each and every one of us equally. It doesn’t make judgement calls on whether confidence is “good” or crying and complaining is “bad”. It just assumes that we are pouring out there is what we want to get back, and it gives it to us — without hesitation. What we ask for in our energy output is what we get back. If you want an upbeat experience, then be upbeat. If you want more to cry and complain about, then keep crying and complaining. You get what you give out, no matter who you are.
Thanking the Universe after visualizing is a great idea! It’s an awesome way to align yourself even further with that energy of already having what you want. 🙂
